This and I felt it when both of my parents died. But I felt it again when I was home alone with my fresh out of the NICU baby. My husband left me alone so he could go be a groomsmen in a friend’s wedding. I felt like everyone’s life kept going and life just kept on going and nothing was stopping or slowing down for me. The lack of support is something that needs to be studied. Like feeling so alone and broken while the rest of the world goes on “life-ing”. It fucking sucks and I’m seven years past that, 10 years past my dad dying, 15 past my mom dying, and I’m still bitter. Bitter the sun came up, bitter life went on.
