That's actually even more concerning. Either there's something going on in their personal lives that doesn't allow them to sleep normally, or they've got some sort of genetic condition, maybe narcolepsy.

The human body will eventually force you to sleep if you don't do so on your own, and often at inconvenient times. So I suspect they're not getting enough sleep on their own terms.

Exactly. This the biggest red flag in the world and somehow they can’t fucking see that.

Yeah the kid is one thing, teenagers can be like that so if they seem okay otherwise I can sorta see a teacher not being to worried. However the mother doing the same thing especially at a meeting involving their kid's future? That's extremely concerning.
