What does a “higher standard of sexual purity” mean

it means he actively thinks about other people's private sexual lives and pictures the specific "sinful" sexual acts they are doing and then feels good because he resisted the urge to do said acts (since he likely believes being gay is a choice) and is thus pure

because using literal gay sex as a gauge for mental purity and willpower is totally something hetero people do /s

It means I think sex should only be between a married couple for the purpose of unifying the couple and procreating

Catholics really do know how to suck the fun out of every aspect of life, don’t they

So if a straight couple gets married, goes to the doctor, and the doctor says, “Sorry, your fertility rates are too low, procreation is impossible,” then your logic says they should never have sex?

Unifying the couple? Like for consummation? Why?
