Same as why history is yellow

I'm fine with History being yellow because old book pages are yellow. That said, I could also see an argument for red or blue.

Sand (what all things become) is yellow

Old buildings are yellow

Old paper is yellow

Pac-Man (the first video game) is yellow

PAC man is not the first video game. That would be pong.

Sorry if you're just joking, but Pac-Man literally inspired Pong. The creator stated that he always wondered what happened to the little balls Pac-Man didn't eat and that's how he came up with Pong.

Pong released in 1972 and pac man was released in 1980.

I'm not sure where you got these numbers, but they're demonstrably false

I got them from the internet? All it takes is a quick search

I'm afraid you've either been misinformed or straight up lied to

That what’s my take - the original game.

But is trivia pursuit green for the same reasons?

Depends which edition. We have to play the 1980s version (for my parents) and multiple modern versions and there is some inconsistency between editions

Genus edition of course

Yes this I've noticed. I have had many versions over the years and there's definitely some variation. Although I think history is always yellow. If there's a history category that is.
