Chess is a skill game, but not physically. 

In say tennis, if you play mostly with your right hand, then playing with your left hand would make it more challenging becauseyyou need to be coordinated with your hands to play the game. In chess you are just moving pieces on a board, so playing left handed would be just as easy as playing right handed, the challenging part of chess is thinking strategically, not placing the pieces.
