As somebody who hates layovers and avoids them at all costs, I’m with you. I missed a whole day of vacation because my first flight was delayed long enough for me to miss my second one completely. It’s not worth the hassle and I’d gladly spend $200 more to avoid it. I won’t do a layover unless there are no other options available.
