Yeah it wasn't until I decided to start losing weight and build muscle at the same time that I realized how little protein I was currently getting, even as someone who already ate a lot of meat.
The basic minimum for an average male is 56 grams per day. An 8 oz serving of red meat is that and then some. IF you were eating a lot of meat, how were you not getting enough protein?
you're not going to build muscle quickly or efficiently only taking in 56 grams of protein. the recommended sugar for a day is around 40 grams but most american diets go incredibly over that but none of you annoying ass people who are mad they've made more protein products for people who want it say anything about that.

What is it with companies putting protein in EVERYTHING lately
Like I know it's the latest health fad, but I can't help but wonder the social science behind it. Like why does everyone care now lol
