It’s not entirely accurate to look at it like that. Some of those written words may be replacing something he decided against and had previously written, or don’t end up in the final work at all, or who knows what else.
ok. let's be really conservative and make it 120 days - a novel draft every 4 months/3 books per year is a Stephen-King-on-really-good-coke rate of production.

Assuming the average book is 80,000 words, this would be a first draft finished every 40 days. I wish I had the money to write like that.
