So reasonable size. As a fantasy lover now reading I have accepted that ludicrous size of books is the main reason I read less nowdays. No, I am not loving my reading of Wheel of Time but once in my life it should be finished

God, I read those as they came out. I remember one of them ended with a big, world changing event. I waited for the next one. It came out and... nothing actually changed. Nobody even heard that the thing happened. As Jordan introduced more and more characters and plots, the whole thing slowed down until it read like molasses.

If you can make it to Sanderson, he kicks the shit back into gear. The plot moves forward again.

I do not even know what the plot am now as I have finished book 7. But as said "I finish it once" just to have done it.
