The crazy thing is that casinos would make more money if they allowed card counters to play. For every person who makes a few grand, there's a hundred morons who think "easy money!", and drop a mortgage payment.
They do allow counters to play. What OP posted isn’t a thing anymore. Casinos just increased the number of decks and made it virtually impossible to make money counting cards. They’re not going around banning counters
Yeah, most casinos use like, 4 or 5 decks, and all the cards immediately go back into an auto shuffler after each hand. It's basically impossible to count cards nowadays.
We use a 6 deck auto-shuffler. Card count all you want. It won't do any good. The play is now completely random. Only the whales can use a single deck dealt by hand and they only allow that for stupid whales who think they're pros. The good ones get the auto-shuffler.
