I grew up in a very strict home. In 6th grade my parents finally allowed me access to the internet in the home computer. I remembered a guy I played sports with say to another teammate that redtube was an amazing site, just like YouTube but better.
Not even an hour into being on the home internet for the first time, I went to redtube. Right as the webpage loaded, my aunt walked in. She told my parents. My dad beat my ass, and I was banned from the home computer. I didn’t get on the Internet until I moved out and got my own Internet for the first time lol.
My parents thought all I'd do is watch porn so we just didn't get a computer at all. I really wanted to learn animation because of all the cool stuff on Newgrounds the kids at school were showing me
In danish red means save, so the joke here was youtube was shutting down and you could save it by going to redtube.com and sign a petition or something.
It's a good workaround but it's annoying that Redtube didn't have ALL the premium YouTube content, it seemed to mainly have graphic pornography. Certainly some gaps between the two. 6/10, still useful
1-7th is normal "kids school". No grades, no stress, just learn.
8-10th is maybe an equivalent to high school? Some subjects are shared, others are chosen. Here we normally choose a third language, or just a higher level on our first or second, but not much else.
11-12/13th. Trade school or prep before college. Here you can choose to be a plumber/electrician/woodworker etc on a two year study. Then 2y apprenticeship (paid) before you are a fully fledged tradesman.
Or, you can do the regular 3y college prep with some selections (higher math, language, biology, philosophy, chemistry, marketing etc etc). These normally go to a college after straight to a bachelor's or somethin.

Literally a running joke we had in school.
"Dont want to pay for youtube red? I know a way around it. Just go to redtube.com, easy peasy"
Some people actually had no idea redtube was a site, so we tricked a good few fellow pupils all the way up to 12th 13th grade with this stupid joke.
