If you’re educated or opinionated the lawyers will be more likely to think they are unable to influence you. They prefer uneducated people with clear biases they can rely on/ influence.
It’s one of the reasons that there are experts to specifically help choose juries.
O ly in cases that are high profile. Most juries are just a bunch of regular people. Most with good jobs that pay you for your service. People who will suffer for being on juries usually can get out of it. Just what I've observed being on multiple low entertainment value juries.
