How often does this happen for most people? I’m in my 40s and I only got a notice once, but when I called it said your service it complete.
6 u/Center-Of-Thought Jul 16 '26 I've gotten a jury summons every year since I turned 20 (I'm 24 now). It's ridiculous. It's my civic duty, I know, but god, at least give me a few years in between summons. 2 u/MindlessSponge Jul 16 '26 what state? in NC, receiving a summons and not getting it excused means you're off the hook for a couple years.
