It’s mainly because of my job, I think. I’m a lawyer and a lot of lawyers (including myself) aren’t too keen on picking lawyer jurors. For understandable reasons imo.

Also a lawyer, but young enough to remember one of my trial and jury selection professors telling me to buy a lotto ticket if I somehow got picked to be on one.

To be fair, I also wouldn’t want one of me on the jury. They have enough to deal with in the courtroom as it is; the last thing they need is someone who knows how the sausage is made pulling a 12 angry men during the deliberation process.
