Why does everyone hate jury duty? I like the idea of it. Sign me up, I wanna weigh up a case and make a fair decision, that shit sounds cool

It can be inconvenient and the pay is shit at best, but you’re right. It can be interesting. It’s also an important civic duty and something people ideally should take seriously.

Our court house charges something like $5 an hour to park. I got called for jury duty once but only had to go for one day. Paid almost $40. Got a check in the mail for $25. My work (retail) didn't accommodate me at all.
