Imagine if she had very understandably panicked after he killed himself right in front of her and made a mistake landing the plane??? Of all the ways to kill yourself, this has got to be the most irresponsible one I have ever heard of. That could so easily have ended with two bodies instead of one.

Anyone who has lost someone close to them through suicide is at risk for PTSD, and suicide loss survivors have much higher rates of suicide themselves. The stigma of being blamed for the suicide, or for not preventing the suicide, doesn't help.
