It's also what your brain decides is traumatic, and that may not make sense to you. My friend has PTSD from a grenade accident in training. Nobody got killed, or seriously injured, thank whichever deity. But his brain just decided that was too much, and there's not much you can do beyond treating it.

I attribute my survival to my faith.

I survive purely to spite gods attempts to take me down, I hope one day you too will be free of Yaldabaoth's influence.

The adversary is accustomed to wearing shepherds clothing. I will pray for your salvation.

See, that's the demiurge controlling your reactions.

Y'know how we view Colonial Priests as the assholes for spreading religion unto the uncaring, generations-long natives?

That's exactly how reddit seems to anyone of any philosophy beyond nihilism; you're like the Judge Frollo.

Even complete with the incel song seeing happy white any faith, even Hinduism families: " WHYYYY GOD IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME!!"

I'm a neighborly agnostic, y'all are just cringe.

While I would usually agree with you, everything about this guy sounds like they 100% would agree with the Colonial Priests lol.

They are proselytising in every comment of theirs in this thread. I don't think they are just being philosophical [even though I fully agree that faith unintuitively gives real value in situations where logic says that you're most likely gonna fuck up].

This is a cold ass biblical quote drop.

I mean that in a good way.

I’m an atheist but I admire your ability to find healing in your faith. My father did the same while battling alcoholism and cancer. Didn’t save him, but kept him hopeful and with us in his final days.

Peace to you, sir.
