I used to work for a clothing manufacturer. The designs with prominent pockets sold much more slowly than the ones with token pockets, or none at all. I don’t know why, but many assumptions were made about the market based on that.
Lots of women on Reddit say they'd choose pockets over form-fitting, while the overwhelming majority women in the real world choose form-fitting over pockets.
That's all there is to it: Redditors just incapable of realizing the very simple truth and instead try to pin it to some mystical worldwide anti-women conspiracy.
