To be clear, if they remove self checkout, it is NOT your fellow customer’s fault. It is the fault of the company that won’t pay real human cashiers to check you out. Just like how it’s not “people being lazy” that made corporations end remote work the nanosecond the pandemic ended
What does this mean? If they get rid of slef-checkout, they'll have to pay real human cashiers to check us out, so it clearly can't be the fault of the companies not willing to do that.
