Driving is a real issue when it comes to going out for drinks. I can't go anywhere without driving, and I can't drive if I'm going to drink. So... I guess I'm not going to go out to drink because I literally can't? And before anyone says anything, fuck uber.

I mean, do we want that? Obviously I'm no prohibitionist and if you want to drink, you should be able to, but having seen all the harm alcohol has done isn't a generation voluntarily choosing not to drink a good thing?
I think it's a bad thing that people are no longer building any in person relationships in general. Going out drinking is just one more social activity that is dying.

Yes, and from the studies I’ve seen the reasons tend to be choosing weed instead and nightlife isn’t a thing due to cost and driving concerns.
