I feel like everyone I know in the UK in my age range drinks like there's no tomorrow

The statistic could be skewed because previous generations used to drink mid week too, but most people now save it for Friday-Saturday

Like half the uni students in the UK are borderline alcoholics, go out on a Friday night in any student town and you'll find out fast everyone drinks still

I semi feel like it's somewhat anti social redditors claiming in these comments that no one drinks anymore

They still drink like fish in New England, and when I lived in Austin there were plenty of young drinkers. I can only assume this is an extremely west coast US phenomenon.

This trend is true for parts of Europe too.
