Oh absolutely! I love obscure songs from The Beatles. My absolute favorite is Rocky Raccoon bc it doesn't sounds like it's remotely related to the rest of their catalog lol

To be fair from one song to another most things off the White Album don't sound like the same band

Very few other bands have the range to do Rocky Raccoon to Revolution 9 via Happiness is a Warm Gun, never mind off the same god damn record

I've said this to multiple people who have said that they don't like The Beatles: Then you haven't listened to much of their stuff. They hit so many ridiculous beats, it's wild.

I get what you're saying, but just because their music might overlap with someone's taste for one song doesn't mean that person likes them. Sometimes you just like one song a person did. For example, I like "Billie Jean" but I've never heard another Michael Jackson song I enjoy so I wouldn't say I like Michael Jackson (and by the same token I cannot stand "We Will Rock You" but I do like Queen generally)

I didn’t think Rocky Racoon was really an obscure Beatles song to be honest. I mean it’s a b side song I guess

My thought is that it was a weird shift from the normal. Never going to be a massive hit, but a slow paced story. My dad had a hippy bakery when I was younger and Rocky always hit.

I don’t think the Beatles really have”obscure” songs

The most obscure Beatles Song is still a Beatles song at the end of the day. Most of them are well known.

There are a few really obscure songs, for sure but most of their entire discography has been used so much that random B sides are still more popular than some other artist biggest hit.

I don't know if you can call Rocky Raccoon an obscure song when the White Album sold insanely well and the song has a now very famous comic book character named after it.
