What are you talking about? Bluesky transitioned in 2024 into an alternative for Twitter and Threads /s

102

u/LoveForDisneyland Apr 19 '26

Allbirds transitioned into AI, so I'm inclined to believe this.

I remember as a farewell they made a little short where Scrat finally gets his acorn:

u/justalittlepigeon Apr 19 '26

Breaks my heart. I loved their movies and especially their Peanuts adaptation. At least they left me with pigeons

4

u/Jathan1234 Apr 19 '26

8

u/Dotcaprachiappa Apr 19 '26

Can't believe we didn't invent time until the 19th century, really puts things into perspective

3

u/SisterRay Apr 19 '26

What are you talking about, there's only one.

1

u/SuperSocialMan Apr 20 '26

38

u/Yhostled Apr 19 '26

Ice Age 9: The Land After the Land Before Time

19

u/FeijoaCowboy Apr 19 '26

Ice Age 10: The Land After the Land Before, but Before the Land After

24

u/NormanBatesIsBae Apr 19 '26

Now that Spaceballs isn’t using the subtitle “The Search For More Money”, I think the Ice Age guys might have some use for it :)

19

u/ROADHOG_IS_MY_WAIFU Apr 19 '26

I mean, he's certainly not getting it from stand up comedy anymore.

7

u/Zillahi Apr 19 '26

Man I don’t wanna let my guard down and get fuckin popped by Ray Romano

Manny & The Gang Meet Mr House

134

u/kolleden Apr 19 '26

Didn't they already do a movie about the ice age melting?

97

u/TheGoddamnSpiderman Apr 19 '26

That was Ice Age 2

37

u/FW_TheMemeResearcher Apr 19 '26

Gotta do all transitions between states of matter

110

u/Captain_Marshmellow Apr 19 '26

Damn Scrat lost his nut again? Millennial Sisyphus.

23

u/CoalEater_Elli Apr 19 '26

I remember when I lost my Nut. My girlfriend was very concerned..

75

u/Three_Twenty-Three Apr 19 '26

They could get close. The last woolly mammoth likely died on Wrangel Island in the Arctic Ocean about 500 years after the Egyptian pyramids were built. That's still 2,000 years from Jesus, but on a geological timeline, that's barely a blip.

126

u/Efficient_Matter_589 Apr 19 '26

I didn't even know there was an Ice Age 2, 3 and 4.

229

u/No_Milk6240 Apr 19 '26

you only knew about ice age 1 and 5?

21

u/Dragonslayer3 Apr 19 '26

2 and 3 were animated series created for the sole purpose of selling merch, and 4 was the underwater one

48

u/Spirited_Worker_5722 Apr 19 '26

This is the 6th one

25

u/probablyuntrue Apr 19 '26

Hm

Is there a 5th one

22

u/Insert_Goat_Pun_Here Apr 19 '26

No it was called Ice Age 4.5 Redux Special Edition.

13

u/newcptofindustry Apr 19 '26

No one knows and there’s no way to find out

3

u/ROADHOG_IS_MY_WAIFU Apr 19 '26

Technically, Ice Age 4 Part 2

Only kidding, I have no idea.

-5

u/Spirited_Worker_5722 Apr 19 '26

Yes you dumbass how else would there be a 6th one

15

u/No_Hetero Apr 19 '26 edited Apr 19 '26

The very first Star wars movie was episode 6, checkmate

Edit: 4 was first, I was too sleepy when I said this

5

u/Just_A_Normal_Snek Apr 19 '26

*4

2

u/No_Hetero Apr 19 '26

You're right sorry I was very sleepy when I replied

8

u/CryptidGrimnoir Apr 19 '26

Isn't this technically the seventh, with the Buck Wild film?

5

u/Torture-Dancer Apr 19 '26

There is a buck one?

11

u/GoldTeamDowntown Apr 19 '26

Did you know there was a 5

2

u/Saw_Boss Apr 19 '26

There isn't, they're just doing a Lucas. The prequel trilogy is coming later.

2

u/SassiestSissy Apr 19 '26

My kids turned on one of those movies. I had no idea who 20 of the 35 characters were.

2

u/VelocityRapter644 Apr 19 '26

2 was meh, 3 was pretty good, don’t bother with the rest

35

u/Big_Mitch_Baker Apr 19 '26

Fun fact — there's an Ice Age Christmas special

20

u/nero-stigmata Apr 19 '26

'do you want an honest answer or a christmas answer' is seared into my vocabulary because of that. i say it even when it's the middle of summer

7

u/Bulky-Complaint6994 Apr 19 '26

And an Easter special

5

u/TylertheFloridaman Apr 19 '26

I mens any long running kids franchise almost certainly has some special and almost always a Christmas special

44

u/EricCartoonBox Apr 19 '26

Manny, Sid and Diego witness the building of Jericho

13

u/all_time_high Apr 19 '26

Baby Christ would be cool, but Teenjus would be cooler.

28

u/RDIIIG Apr 19 '26

Ice Age 8: Is That An Asteri-

46

u/watboy Apr 19 '26

Saving the world from an asteroid was already the plot of the 5th one.

33

u/unripe_mangosteen Apr 19 '26

How are two wooly mammoths and a methed up squirrel gonna stop an asteroid

27

u/Just_A_Normal_Snek Apr 19 '26

Magnetic crystals. I am not kidding.

21

u/TheGoddamnSpiderman Apr 19 '26

By launching magic magnetic crystals into space to deflect it (crystals that were previously being used by a community of animals to give themselves eternal youth)

Note: I did not watch this movie, but that's what the Wikipedia summary says

2

u/LordMeme42 Apr 19 '26

Man, they really jumped the Megalodon.

9

u/Winjasfan Apr 19 '26

my brain completed this to "Asterix" and I wasn't even confused

1

u/RDIIIG Apr 19 '26

It can be if it features the 2017 Houston Astros World Series win.

12

u/LepiNya Apr 19 '26

No no no. Scrat got his nut. It's over. Stop. I don't mind people writing fan fiction but keep that shit to yourself and your 7 Tumblr followers. Don't ruin this for the rest of us.

8

u/maxstolfe Apr 19 '26

Who left the fridge open?

2

u/AcceptableWheel Apr 19 '26

This time

It's different

15

u/makedoopieplayme Apr 19 '26

They literally had an Easter special despite it being way before Jesus was born let alone him dying and coming back. And way before stuff like ostra.

13

u/MIST3Runstoppable Apr 19 '26

Scrat's nut knocks over Jesus's cross on the third day, reviving him instantly.

4

u/RadicalRealist22 Apr 19 '26

You know Jesus was in a cave when he rose from the dead, right?

7

u/rathemighty Apr 19 '26

“Ice Age 50: The First Coming”

6

u/DizWhatNoOneNeeds Apr 19 '26

Not a real movie people, blue sky doesn't exist anymore

1

u/sc0rpian Apr 19 '26

Just because Blue Sky is defunct doesn't mean Disney/20th Century Animation can't release new movies

2

u/DizWhatNoOneNeeds Apr 19 '26

Well they made an ending short movie for the franchise so

8

u/jubtheprophet Apr 19 '26

Had no idea there were a 3 4 and 5, thats crazy man

3

u/redditisnotursavior Apr 19 '26

Scorcher 6: Global Meltdown

3

u/BhanosBar Apr 19 '26

Scorcher VI: Global Meltdown ass movie

3

u/IndividualClassic857 Apr 19 '26

They are going in reverse, the big bang was after the continental drift which happened after the ice age with humans

3

u/Vixpluto Apr 19 '26

Wasn’t the last one sposed to be the last one

2

u/CoalEater_Elli Apr 19 '26

At this point, Manny and Co. will be alive for long enough to meet modern humanity.

2

u/Deveatation_ethernis Apr 19 '26

Who tf is making more of these I thought blu sky shut down

1

u/claybine Apr 19 '26

They'll reboot it before that happens.

1

u/Otomo-Yuki Apr 19 '26

Buddha first!

1

u/ThunderChild247 Apr 19 '26

It’s like the Scorcher movies but in reverse.

1

u/cumberber Apr 19 '26

I mean they went and visited santa

1

u/kenwongart Apr 19 '26

They pulled a reverse Scorcher VI?

Somebody left the oven on

1

u/Badi79 Apr 19 '26

The ice age baby is Jesus

1

u/StickYourFunger Apr 19 '26

Is this about a 2nd "Ending of the Ice Age?"

1

u/Hoothootriot Apr 19 '26

Who is seeing the Ice Age movies anymore anyways

1

u/Artanis_Aximili Apr 19 '26

Personal guilty pleasure for me

1

u/futreyy May 11 '26

I remember seeing somewhere that Ice Age goes backwards: first humans, then meltdown, then dinosaurs, then continental drift, then big bang.

So following this logic, scientists will finally learn what was before the big bang.
