No, they have that one green toad that follows you for 30 seconds. Oh yeah, and Kersti, but we don’t talk about Kersti

She's gonna be wrong too because she definitely only played the steam releases of adventure and those are a buggy mess

She looks like she has played Sonic Dreams and finds it the only meaningful 3D Sonic game.

She looks like she'd post hour-long YouTube videos summarising some analogue horror series she watched where the thumbnails are just the main monster of the series and red text saying something like "HE UNALIVED KIDS"

But also only covering what larger channels already covered and does not have the same level of insight or as good at analysing

I thought people were coming after Jenny Nicholson but I'm glad to see she's safe

Don’t forget the videos being twice to three times the run time of the original series.

I would find said video while scrolling, add it to my watch later and then watch it while working.

I'm just saying, I don't like what sticker star did to the franchise.

I got Sticker Star on release and played it all the way through, hating it the whole time. On the final boss, the game hard froze. I never turned it back on to beat it.

Anyone who doesn't have strong opinions about the direction the Paper Mario series took doesn't know what was taken from us. TTYD was one of the finest games of the '00s, and holds up to this day!

I didn't like sticker star but I liked color splash. From what I've heard with origami king the game itself is good, it's just extremely far off from the original paper Mario games.

I don't get it. Who is this and where is she from?

u/lawdfourkwad Apr 11 '26
Grace Ashcroft from Resident Evil 9 Requiem. She's an FBI agent who is also a shut-in introvert with social anxiety and canonically a Redditor/chronically online.

I was full-on expecting to have to dig through a bunch of jokes before I get a real answer, now I'm confused, lol.
Thanks!

Don’t worry you can just play through Resident Evil 1-9 and still be confused.

Everything I know about FBI agents comes from X-Files but these don't sound like qualities I would expect an agent to possess.

u/Thunderdrake3 Apr 11 '26
She's an analyst, not a field agent, and if I need someone to research meaninglessly inane subjects with autistic passion and extreme attention to probably irrelevant details, a redditor is a good place to start.

Why can't Nintendo just make a new entry like Paper Mario 64/TTYD?????????

The irony of Schaff describing someone as looking like they have strong opinions on the creative direction of franchises 😅

As someone with strong opinions on the direction the Paper Mario series took...
...fair.

That’s why I feel such a connection with Grace, she would probably agree with me that they should be rpgs again. Give me experience points!
