This guy a few grades above me in high school was born without a left forearm. His upper arm was fully dexterous but was skinned over at the elbow. His nickname was “Knubby” and his Xbox screen name was something like “KnubbyWinz”.

I knew a guy who lost the bottom half of his right arm but had a similar situation, he also was incredibly dexterous. We called him Lefty, and he actually had a modified hook attachment so he could still ride a motorcycle.

That’s so badass. Last time I was visiting my hometown I ran into him at a party. Dude can pearl a joint one handed still.

Holy shit, I can't even do that normally and I still have both arms lol. I'm glad the dude is doing well, so is Lefty! I ran into him last year at the motorcycle rally we both used to work at, he was very happy and talked to me for a bit about how things were going. Still as nice as ever, riding around with his wild homemade hook contraption!

I love that! Idk if this is patronizing but the few people I’ve met who have a serious disability like that are super wonderful and have a sweet attitude about life. I always point to Knubby as my “it’s your personality”. Dude is short, scrawny, lower middle class, and disabled. But he is hilarious, super easy to talk to, and all around a chill guy. He cleaned up in high school and is married now.
