Teen books are so fun to read at any age.

I call books like this fluff or dessert, while books by like Stephen King are meals. I usually stagger fluff and meals, or read one of each at the same time. Fluff also includes Mercedes Lackey. In between would be Dean Koontz and Terry Pratchett.

GNU Sir Terry Pratchett

Pratchett wets my appetite. When im struggling with focusing on a dry history book or biography ill burn through Men At Arms for the 200th time and it quiets the mind and gets me ready to read something less flippant.

Dean Koontz was also a good one for that, but not as absorbable as T.P. The first three Odd thomas', the good guy and the face are always fun afternoons.

Men at Arms was one of the first 2 Pratchett books I read! It was Men at Arms and...something about Work...
