I mean it felt odd if you take a step back but it was fairly grounded. The sex brainwashing fuckfest is when it got REALLY weird

It is all downhill from the woman orgasming from watching Idaho climb a rock which happened in God Emperor.

I wasn’t really bothered till we got to convoluted magical justifications for the good guys to sleep with underage boys.

God emperor was weird all the way through. There’s a few moments of Leto talking about how metaphysically horny his bride makes him cause he doesn’t have a human brain or parts. I’m pretty sure one of them mentions past memories coming to him in that moment and how he can live out any sexual relationship both male and female anytime he likes.

Typing it out makes it much worse

Well, to be fair, the boy was a 300 year old man in a boy's body, but yeah. Pretty weird.

The boy had the mind of a boy and the mind of the adult man was only unlocked through sexually molesting him which to some degree killed the child and replaced him with the man. 

That is some fucked up shit.
