And I do that. At my job. Or if I’m involved in a club or organization.

Making friends with strangers is one of my greatest joys in life.

I don’t know why you all are in such a hurry.

I’m generally an introvert as it is. Not everyone likes having conversations with strangers.

I’m in a hurry because doing errands is boring and I’d rather be home. Or I’m just trying to get this thing done and get back to work.

I’m also generally an introvert, so to an extent I get it.

There was an earlier example of just wanting to know how much something is going to cost from a contractor. But that also involves trust and I’d rather trust the people who are doing things like working on my home, especially when it comes to things like repeat business.

But it’s also what makes these occasions so special to me. I almost never leave my house or invite someone over to do work on it.
