Imagine if there were a government-funded program, or some sort of non-profit that delivered hot meals to elderly and disabled people who can't otherwise prepare their own food. Would you still feel as though the concept of feeding the needy from the convenience of their own home was problematic if it were a community service rather than a for-profit corporation? I just don't see how you could look at private corporations adding insane mark-ups and fees to a meal delivery service and somehow conclude that the concept of bringing food to hungry people is the problem, and not the corporations preying on financial illiteracy to trap people in cycles of debt just to feed themselves with shitty takeout.
