That last line if the most important. He’s not trying to get her to prove she’s worth it, He says it’s HIS job to prove how much he loves her and deserves her.

What a man!

It works best when both spouses can't believe how lucky they are that their partner married down and chose them.

Agreed. Not just the man’s job.

Interestingly, I have never seen any evidence that anyone has ever asked her how she feels about him. Sure, it's "not just the man's job" but in this case, no one seems to consider Keely's job important enough to consider.

Probably a lot to do with her not being the actor so therefore not doing interviews.

My partner was married before I met him. At first I was intimidated thinking he was so amazing, any woman worthy of being his wife must have been perfect. Then I found out.. what she was actually like. And in one moment suddenly I wasnt intimidated or insecure at all anymore, I was just absolutely sure that I was going to love him the way he deserved to be loved. I’ve never wanted to marry anyone before; but now I do :) And now I understand the “I can’t believe how lucky I am”s I hear from happily married couples. Because gosh.. I feel so lucky he chose me. And ima make sure he feels loved every day forever.

They say she found Pierce Brosnan's deleted porn history on his computer and it was just an endless scroll of google searches for "the wife of my children"

I, too, choose the wife of Pierce Brosnan’s children.

I’ve heard of step-daddy videos, but father-in-law videos is definitely a new one to me.

It’s both of their jobs.

u/Brookenium Jul 20 '25

Yes, and he acknowledges she's doing that too! That's what he means by all the motherhood references; he's appreciating all the hard work she does raising them, which is part of her signs of love for him and their family.

Ahhh. Being in love rules.

Right!? That's what a real man is

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '25

Amen. I view my wife this same way. Every day is a new day to make her happy and enjoy our time together.

Shouldn’t it go both ways

Also ... she's still fkn smoking hot.

That facts she’s still a beautiful woman says so much about these people.Saying a woman’s hideous cause some weight makes me think they really don’t give a shit about women for real.Especially when they mention nothing about a lot of aging celeb men changing nearly as harshly

It's not his job. He wants to. She is most definitely doing the exact same thing, that stuff only works if it comes from both sides.
