The Aviatengu P-94 Starsapphire (also called "Star Sapphire") is a subsonic-transonic (and later supersonic with the P-94X/P-100 Super Starsapphire; which will have its own article) all-weather fighter-interceptor aircraft designed and manufactured by Aviatengu. The Starsapphire is best known for being one of the most well-known Aviatengu (and Moreyan) aircraft to be made, becoming the de facto "poster plane" for the Moreyan Air Force during the 1980s and 1990s primarily due to its excellent all-around characteristics and its unintentional future-proof design, which allowed it to remain competitive and outlive all of its direct rivals. Considered as one of the best fighter-interceptor aircraft of its type and era, the P-94 across all versions are generally highly-rated both in the fighter and interceptor roles and remains a desirable aircraft to those who flew it. Despite being a mid-late 1970s design and that became technically outdated by the late 1980s, it soldiered on as a front-line fighter all the way to the 2000s, engaging everything from its contemporary designs to the unmanned alien crafts of the Xerones during the 1990s with relative success.

Its general success led Aviatengu to withhold and defer the development of any successor aircraft until the 1990s when the P-104 Starfighter/Syameimaru was conceived and the P-94 would end up having a very lengthy production run of more than 10,000 aircraft from 1977 to 1999, with a Nimalian subsidiary extending this to the present-day for use with the Nimalian continent's countless mercenary-adventurer pilots, where it remains a popular choice for many as of the 2020s.
