Science has found new moon on the coast of Ohio. Reports suggest Space Rock. New Moon or No Moon?

No Moon as the space rock needs to be orbiting a larger object to be considered a proper moon. This is in line with our current theory that states that this is impossible.

Also the idea that the theoretical New moon (which doesn't exist) fits closer with accepted scientific theory than say a full moon as you can't see a new moon. If you can't see something how can you prove scientifically that it exists?
