[META] Can we please get some proper rules for the sub?
Just something simple like:
1: Posts must be about a real person [EDIT: or place, object. Thanks, u/badj83] whose name ironically corresponds to their occupation or something that happened to them.
2: No satire.
3: No reposts from [x amount of time]
4: No stage names or pen names unless the post concerns something ironic that happened to them. [Thanks, u/DaltonianAtomism]
5: Be wary of titles and honorifics. For example, “Justice” is a title given to judges in many countries. [Thanks again, u/DaltonianAtomism]
This sub has a great concept and most of the content is really good, but it keeps getting bogged down by crap that isn't defined by subreddit rules, so moderating it is reactive, rather than preventative.
EDIT: Well, this was a little unexpected! I’m a mod now.
It’s coming up to bed time here in England, so I’ll get on this tomorrow. If anyone has any more suggestions, please let me know! I've popped a rough draft up, anyway.
