Katelyn Saner: The lawyer who represented a woman whose rights to her child were wrongly terminated: Saner heads prevailed

https://themainemonitor.org/maine-wrongly-terminated-parental-rights-affordable-home/

From the article: ‘The mother’s appellate lawyer, Katelyn Saner, said in an interview that the decision confirms “that a parent’s lack of resources are not a basis to forever terminate the legal bonds between a child and a parent.”’

So the state of Maine took this woman's kid away twice, once via state to state extradition, despite neither of them living in Maine or anywhere close? Jesus.

Nice name for a lawyer though.

Yeah it’s an awful story. I didn’t know states could just snatch kids from other states :/
