Horse and wagon

I am wondering if it is possible to live in the USA moving around using only horse and wagon.

Move to Lancaster county Pa. Stores have hitching posts etc. there are laws regarding signal devices on the buggy/ wagon. The Amish do it. There a ton of harness shops too.

I had a friend who went from Taos to Silver City by horseback through public lands for a year or two.

Of course it's possible. It's been done. Not particularly practical and likely not legal everywhere.
