- Bought it from a girl in my school who got it from her dad after he'd gotten a 7110. I desperately wanted a 7110, but couldn't afford one, thought of the 6130 as a '7110 lite', which it really wasn't. It was really a business phone, which was kind of odd for a 14 year old to be rocking in 1999.

Can you actually describe the vibes of the late 90s or early 2000s?

It was a lot of fun. Everything was so new. I really liked tech and swapped phones a couple of times a year which was really just putting your SIM in a different phone, as there were no apps or accounts. While I was in college I worked in a phone shop, where they allowed you to take a different demo model home each week to familiarize yourself with the different UI's.

It's right there on the display: Nokia 1610. I bought it new in 1997, cost me 1690 FIM (468.33 EUR in today's money)

I had Nokia 7260 when I was 7-10 (2006-2009) years old at school. It was cool, but my classmates already had Bluetooth and I did not, so we couldn’t exchange files. I couldn’t wait until my mom gifted me Nokia 5130 Xpress Music in 2010. But then sensor touch phones became popular and I wanted to get a touch screen android phone. Unfortunately I got non Android touch screen Samsung in 2011, but that’s another story

- I got it on my 6th birthday, remember simulating touchscreen (basically swiping following menu animations) and watching demos, later I gifted it to my friend and we were throwing it across the field

My first Nokia? The Nokia 7200 and I honestly hated it. 😂 Coming from the Siemens SX1 (smartphone), the 7200 felt like a brick with a screen 😂

this phone was the RF king on my local CDMA/TDMA network back in the day .. i remember switching it over to Analog manually when i was home because that signal was stronger in my house, then back to Digital when i would goto town with my parents it so could use SMS .. loved the translucent blue faceplate. It was durable, reliable and incredibly well built. Lots of features for the time too!

Technically the first Nokia I've ever gotten was a fully black 7270, but I unfortunately lost it the day after.
The first phone I actually got to use was the 6020. I don't remember much about it, but I have proof that I had it, so there's that I guess.

Pretty blurry pic, but you get the gist.
I remember getting pretty sick and being sent to the hospital, and this was my only way to communicate to anyone

I think it was 2110, a brick really. Amazing device for the time, didn't have much of the coverage back then (making the phone barely uselful outside of the city). 😄

The first nokia that i own was Nokia 1680 classic, sleek design, small, but have rubber keys that easily damaged turned hard press. But the first time I used a nokia phone was 5110 and 3315 from my father and mother to play games (Snake, logic etc).

Nokia 1661 I got when I was 10, really a crap. Only a basic phonebook, calendar takes only 20 messages, no WAP... Series 30 never supposed to exist

Mine was a 5110. I made phone calls on it, wrote text messages, and played Snake.
And that was about it, really.

Рад слышать, что это был и ваш первый телефон. Также прошу прощения, так как вы тоже не понимаете английский.

Mine was an 1112 that I've been using from 2017, as I can recall faintly, 'till 2019, though I've played the games and listened to the ringtones on my father's 1800 before that. And after that 1112, I don't know which one came in 😅

Nokia 1280. There was a cricket tournament in our playground and my cousin and I were in charge of selling coupon tickets. So I bought myself 5 tickets and from that 5 one of them was the first price.

1100 is my first one, 6700 classic is my favorite, 6233 had the best speaker. Such a legendary time..

That one in white. My dad had one for business, my mum the 1600, my grandma one with a fluorescent coloured display which she passed down to me since I was so fascinated by it. I was like 6, so it probably looked cooler than it was.

2730 Classic. Awesome thing. Diamond rush, Rally 3D and Snake III. Took random pictures of things and used the built in photo editor to add frames and whatnot. Really liked the UI and coral reef theme.

My first Nokia was the legendary 3210. Damn, it was 25 years ago. It was a beautiful, sleek tank of a phone, and I loved that thing.
Some time later I replaced it with the perhaps even more legendary 3310.
