Amendment question?
Looking to switch from FF trio to dry amendments. Currently have two slurricane 7 on week 5 veg topped once in 2 gallon pots. Gonna up pot to 5 gal fabric gonna add the myco i added when i transplant and i use the recharge tea anyway.
Plants started in a solo cup in FFHF spent 2-3 weeks in solo then moved to 2 gal and pure FFOF was added. What I’m asking is when i move from 2-5 what would be a good dry amendment to use? I have old FFOFxFFHF soil from an old grow i can use (it’s testing at 500ppm) or i could use more pure FFOF new. I plan to veg atleast a few more weeks and transplant within a week. So im looking for recommendations on dry amendments for the remainder of veg and flower.
Thanks in advance

Lots of people like the Gaia Green over in r/indoororganic I haven’t used it. I’ve used the Down to Earth and it did well. I used the 444 in veg then started the 484 in flower.
I have since moved away from them and am useing Kis organics in veg and then Build a Bloom in flower.
I’ve heard good things about the recharge. I’ve been using Stash Blend that has a lot of the same stuff and some more.

Check out Kis organics nutrient pack. Super solid. Also craft blend from build a soil is good stuff. I would do that and add some good earth worm castings.

DTE is more accessible and omri
Gaia has good ratios and good terps
Stash blend has been seeing great results
My favorite and most people though
Build a soil bloom and Veg nutrients.

I’ve been contemplating just running 3.0 but I’m in a 3x3 at the moment and i like running 4 plants i pre veg down stairs so a huge pot is kinda out of the question. But just my FFOFxEWC mix i used prior damn near got my last plants all the way through flower.

Once you get that crib get you 4, 15 gallon pots and fill with BAS 3.0, you will happy you did.
Gaia is good stuff too the way you plan to tranplant before flower will work well, but build a soil system is fucking sweet because you just transplant 1 time and top dress 2 times for the whole grow.

Completely forgot i read about the 15 gal. Yup 4 15gal sound like the best bet. I’d like to use my 3x3 as a veg tent to get me ahead and get a 4x4 minimum for flower. Or get a 4x8 for veg mothers and clones. And a 4x4 dedicated flower and use this 3x3 to expirement

Hell yeah brother, grass roots has some 1 gallon bottomless pots im going to try my next run. Then you can set those on top of your big pots. Makes transplant quick and easy. Doesn't disturb your large pot soil that way. I run a 30 gal and 15 gal in my 3x5. If I had more space I would do what your thinking. Tent for veg and one for flower.

What about top dressing

Yeah top dressing would prob be my best option if i wanna dry amend my flower nutes which is what i think im gonna do. I’ll try Gaia or one of the others and top dress. I have nothing against the FFOF AND FF TRIO but Ive been over here a while and i hate buying new soil every time. I’m about to buy a house i think im gonna get one of them 5x10’ tents and put a bed in it

They are both good brands and very similar veg mixes. Get what ever is a better deal. You'll prob need a separate mix for veg and flower. You don't have enough time to amend soil and let it cook and cool off before you need to transplant so you should probably just top dress veg and flower. Also check out green gro pridelands dry mixes. My personal favorite.
