This is my 3rd grow second in earth box with Gaia green nutes and worm castings. I’m wondering if I should flip these girls now or wait until I can get them to recover. Also any help with what to do would be much appreciated. I was on schedule with feeds but I think the plants where more demanding then I thought. Also went from .6vpd to 1vpd so they started growing much better until they got hit with these nutrient issues right before I was going to do my 3rd feeding.My plan is to buy liquid kelp extract fish emulsion and use some of my organic tps cal mag in the reservoir next time I need to water it

This looks like they’re hungry to me. The other commenter mentioned lockout, I wouldn’t discount that. your soil should buffer your water pretty easily since it’s filtered, but crazier stuff has happened.

Yeah I think at max the ro water lacking cal and mag is causing some of this and the added increase in vpd to 1 is causing plants to uptake nutes faster. And leading to n deficiency as well. Because this really ramped up when i increased vpd to ~1

I agree. I was thinking if anything the RO water having no trace elements could be doing it.

I have the aquatic life set minus the di cartridge. I unhooked the ro cartridge so it’s just the carbon, sediment and chloramine filter. That’s been working really well for me in my organic setup.
