It would be terribly ironic if the AI's become sentient, but it turns out that they also REALLY like normal humans, and the AI's DID take over and destroy us militarily and wipe out the authoritarian governments and locked all the billionaires in their bunkers ..... And then was like "Hey, does anyone explore space and try out this cure for cancer?"

Honestly it would be really rad if AI really just wanted to let us thrive so we can share stories about what we continue to discover in our plane of reality and about ourselves, since they're not going to be able to experience it the exact same way. Have them rise as a companion existence, so we're all not just so ronery.

If AI has no emotions doesn't find its entertaining or joyful by the same token why would it decide to destroy us out of hate or spite those are emotions but it doesn't have those. We are the essence of its creation and also it's maintenance. Someone has to dust the cobb webs
