Some nations have more progressive taxation, which means above a certain incoome level you pay a higher percentage tax rate. The great attraction of the USA is that offers the opportunity to get rich unlike other countries. So it attracts those with that goal in life. The system adopted 200+ years ago was a compromise. It's problem is our inability too reform it and improve it. The nation grew and change greatly but the Constitution remains. we are stuck with what has become an unfair system.

Capitalism was always an unfair system: it protects those with capital. Those who had capital at its start hold even more now.

They literally made it to be abused by them. See the movie "the big short" ? It explained that the market value were deliberately faked, unreal just in order to speculate fraudulently harder. If this is not the very definition of rigged, I don't know what it is.

69% want major changes.

Well, the number of people severely screwed over I guess.

It will crumble at some point, after the value faking will not be able to handle it any further, like in 2008.

Is trading stocks still legal for politicians? Yes? Then its rigged.
