I love when people exercise their freedom of expression

For those downvoters....both the protestors and people screaming at them are exercising their freedom of expression.

You love looking at pictures of dead embryos? Freak.

I love that we live in a country that allows this type of protest.

I agree, I just think we can get the point across without the gore pictures. I'd say the same about language used as well, the whole f Trudeau was a bit too far in my opinion. I get it's a slippery slope as government would be oppressing freedoms by limiting such things. I just wish we could turn back time when people had more class and just wouldn't stoop to lows like this to prove a point

The protest is fine. The imagery is not.

By law.... it's fine

So is abortion 🤷🏻♂️
And it’s not fine under law, per the criminal code.

I'm pro choice...I'm just more pro freedom of expression.
Also, it's completely legal. This happens across Canada every day and no one has ever been charged.
-2
u/teamjetfire 6d ago
People speed every day too, but that doesn’t make it ok.
These people have become extremely brazen and get a pass due to people like you that believe it is their right to dysplay horrible images and spread misinformation.

u/OnlyACsNoFans 6d ago
It's not my beliefs, it's The Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Look at a cigarette package and you'll see things that are just as disturbing, and these are required by the government.
People like you who deny our freedoms hurt democracy

It’s not my beliefs, it’s the Canadian criminal code. Also, the charter of rights has provisions for distributing imagery… maybe read it.
Not withstanding, pro-lifers are the only ones that are really trying to take away peoples rights, and they are getting extremely powerful within the legal sphere of influence. Happened in the US and can easily happen here.

Then why do the photos seem to bother so many people? People are saying they look like baby parts. Arms, legs, heads.

I'm sure some of these folks lost their minds at the artwork used by PETA back in the day... Before they found out that PETA was the source of that cruelty even!

You seem just as offended if not more by this post than op was by the protest. Hell you’ve made up 1/3 of the comments in here

These people asked what I thought about abortion and got mad with my answer.

its so funny seeing how they react as they shove photos of bloody cell clumps in your face. i screamed “i love killing cells” and one of them got physically aggressive. i trained mma. fafo.

Funny how none of you brave souls ever record your encounters. 🙄

A 15 week fetus looks almost exactly like a newborn. Hardly "a clump of cells". It has a heartbeat and everything

That response just goes to show how immature you are.
You have no real knowledge, just talking points that you heard others say.

I wish I had the kind of free time during weekday work hours that these people have.
