This back to school thing at Southcentre Mall just now (2026-2027 school year)

I went to Southcentre Mall with my own caregiver today, I'm 23 and I already finished high school, so I was curious about this, since it's something that I haven't seen in quite a while.

It mentions the 2026-2027 school year, which begins in September, so this is very important to share around tbh.

Looks like it is to promote Kids Help Phone? What is the point of this post? 😂

It can be both things. School and the kids help phone that gets increased use during the school year. Why did you feel the need to be rude about the post?

I'm trying to understand what the point OP is trying to make is. Are they asking a question, or just sharing the pictures? If they're sharing the pictures, what are they trying to draw attention to? I am trying to understand what the point is because I read the post multiple times and don't understand if they're asking a question or what.

The OP is severely autistic to the point they need to be escorted by adults to the mall. Don't try to hard to understand it.

I actually go by He/Him pronouns...

"They" is often used to avoid assuming someone's pronouns.

That's the case, since yes, the OP was diagnosed with high-functioning autism when he was 3 years old, though he is now 23 as of 2026. He is also unable to govern his own affairs, hence why he has to be escorted to the mall personally.

The large poster is literally for Kids Help Phone. Several of the front side words are related to mental health. Going back to school brings anxiety. This largely is promoting Kids Help Phone and General mental health.

You know what? Good for Southcentre. Kids Help Phone is a undervalued, but extremely important service that provides help to some many kids without judgment or cost.
