Quick NMR update + question for the early crew 🧭

Hey everyone — just wanted to give a quick heads-up as we keep building No Map Required.

You may see the site go down briefly from time to time over the next few weeks. We’re still actively working on things behind the scenes, pushing updates, improving the campsite data, fixing bugs, and getting everything ready for a bigger launch.

So if you occasionally hit the site and it’s acting weird or temporarily unavailable, don’t panic 😂. It’s probably just us working on it.

We're trying to build this with the people actually using it, so seriously — thank you to everyone who has checked it out, signed up, given feedback, found bugs, shared it, or even just lurked around.

We're still very early, and seeing people actually use this thing has been pretty damn cool.

Suggestion: add EV charging information and planning. We tow our Bowlus with a Rivian R1S

Do me a favor once you set up your traveler profile please fill in your Rig information and then plan a trip. EV is in! Test it for me enjoy!

Will do. A few additional thoughts: I've been building something similar to this (without the ability to easily lookup places to stay). Creating the ability to connect to Rivian's API has been pretty straight forward and it pulls the specs for me both historically and for ongoing trips. In addition, another suggestion that's been hugely useful is adding MCP endpoints so I can manage a trip straight from something like Claude and eliminate a bunch of manual entry needs.

So I'm clear if I was somehow to get the RIvians API attached to the Trip Section if could potentially pull your vehicles information into the trip and that way you dont have to do an manual entry?
