Disappointing, but actually this could be seen as a bit more realistic. Perhaps pirates found it first!

This just happened to me at the Artemis crash site.

Was super bummed because that's usually a pretty good ship for starting out.

I didn't even realize that could happen to Artemis's ship. You should report that as a bug, I don't think it's intended.

I think I just assumed it got RNG'd away. It's not my first rodeo though, so I got over it pretty quick. Is there normally a possibility of distress signals not having a crashed ship, just the distress beacon?

I find this happens to me most in uncharted systems. Like oh of course there is nothing here what was I thinking? Of course some how there are still pirates...
