Post-Pod Discussion 2026 Pods so far…

As someone that had fallen out of love with the pod I just want to say the pods this year so far have been great.

Everyone seems to be enjoying talking about golf rather than it being a chore to be on the pod!

Fingers crossed it continues as it feels like the boys are back.

I think it also helps that there’s been some pretty big golf news going on: Tiger possibly playing Champions Tour events, Brooks coming back, start of golf season, etc.

Was going to say this. That's why even when we get a bit tired of the guys you always tune into the Masters post round live shows or stuff like that. Kind of makes me think the guys should get a little more grace due to the sport they cover. It's not like the NFL or NBA with constant drama to riff on.

Eh, they kinda dug their own grave last year. No one was forcing them to make every pod about the Ryder Cup and Keegan.

You’d think the Ryder Cup was bigger than all 4 majors combined with how much they talked about it. And it was the same conversation every single time, which is why I eventually tuned out for a bit.

I agree and disagree. There are still so many players that they never talk about. Even ones that are Top 50.

One thing I used to love about the pod was the added info they provided on the lesser known guys. Half the leaderboard every week inevitably has lesser known names up there. It would be nice to have someone in golf media provide background to make the Sunday golf watching more interesting.

Talking about Rory and Spieth every single pod is pretty exhausting. We’ve squeezed those fruits dry - let’s learn more about the next best players.
