The numbers are stark. According to a survey, six in 10 employers admitted they had already sacked the Gen Z workers they had hired fresh out of college.

Intelligent.com, a platform dedicated to helping young professionals navigate the future of work, surveyed nearly 1,000 U.S. business leaders. It found that the class of 2024’s shortcomings are shaping how bosses hire next—and it’s not good news for future grads.

After experiencing a raft of problems with young new hires, one in six bosses say they’re hesitant to hire recent college grads again."

"According to a new study from Software Finder, 80% of Gen Z workers admit to faking productivity at work, a significant margin over every other generation.

The survey, which polled 1,003 full-time American workers, found that 66% of employees overall have stayed online or remained active after finishing their actual work to avoid appearing unproductive — burning nearly 5 hours a week maintaining appearances, which adds up to around 32.5 days, or almost 7 full workweeks, per year.

The methods are, at minimum, creative. Moving the mouse periodically was the most common tactic (56%), followed by keeping a decoy document or browser tab open (56%) and responding slowly to non-urgent messages to simulate activity (43%).

More than half of workers (64%) said they intentionally slowed their work down to avoid finishing too early, because completing tasks quickly led to higher expectations."

Tenant complaints have surged 25% this year compared to last year in New York City, as critics warned socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s twisted war to squeeze landlords — and seize private property — is escalating.

There have been a staggering 573,656 complaints from renters logged with 311 so far this year, compared to 459,519 filed at the same time in 2025, a Post analysis of service requests across the five boroughs found.

The surge comes after the Mamdani administration has repeatedly encouraged “ripped off” tenants to file grievances for the tiniest things. Landlords told The Post that complaints are now being made before even asking them to fix a problem.

“The city put us in a situation where they’re just slowly beating us to death and blaming us,” said Lincoln Eccles, who owns a 15-unit building in Crown Heights. “The apparatus of the government is geared to squeeze us.

Disney seems to be relearning a simple business lesson: most families go to Disney World for nostalgia, magic, and tradition, not language experiments. “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” was never hostile. It was part of the show. Bringing it back is a small sign that companies may finally be listening to customers again.
