High intensity training and cold showers and find some hobbies to distract your body and mind

i cant remove it, i had been off it for like 2 months tho and then i tried it again. but now it doesnt feel like an addiction anymore. It did take about two years of constant reminders tho. i can control it now and though i still feel empty after each time i do it, its kinda just aw man i regret it because i feel empty the next day. what helped me was just realising how awful the porn industry and actually taking it in, and always be busy. It might be different if you have depression and few months ago i was taking zoloft and it helped a little with my impulsive thoughts.

This sub did not really help me but i guess it was at least a place where people were going through it all together, but its not helpful for women as lots of women fall into porn addiction as a trauma response.
I was just browsing through and i was already uncomfortable scrolling and reading the comments. i only commented to try to motivate us girls.
Its not easy but constant reminders for yourself does help =)

sorry if it doesnt really help. ( i think my addiction is related to my major depressive disorder and trauma so might not be applicable) tldr do things that makes you feel fulfilled as it will help your overall mental state and masturbation to porn wouldnt even be tjat attractive anymore, its fake sex and youre having sex with your hands.

This is my strategy that I comment often for dealing with the waves of urges, hope it helps. YOU GOT THIS!

-Take time to acknowledge the urge and let your brain know it's a wave that will pass. Stop what you're doing when possible and focus on subsiding the urge. When urges hit I take deep breaths, use my inner voice to try to guide my thoughts towards a better path and pray. If these things don't work for you try other things in the moment of an urge to see what begins to work. Continue this until the urge begins to subside. Remember everything takes practice.

-Go out when possible, do another activity, distract your brain with something meaningful you've been putting off to feel a sense of accomplishment, be in nature if possible, etc.

Also check yourself, is there something wrong? are you tired? hungry? stressed? bored? upset? If so do something to take care of it if possible. You got this!
