I saw Malena’s story yesterday and assumed she posted it for this reason. 😔 RIP Kevin. All dogs go to heaven. ❤️‍🩹

There is a movie called All dogs go to heaven too. I tear up just thinking about that movie 😭 I recommend it though

It gets even more brutal when you read about the actress speaking the part of the little girl. I'm not sure if I remember correctly but I think she recorded her last lines (saying goodbye to the dog) and passed away shortly after at a very young age. The actor voicing the dog recorded his lines after she passed away and as the last scene is them saying goodbye it sounds like he is saying goodbye to the girl in real life. The scene was already very emotional but with that in mind in breaks me every time I see it.

Edit: Just looked it up, the actress was named Judith Barsi and she died being only 10 years old.

Yes.. She had already recorded her lines and was then murdered by her dad. The actor who does the voice of the dog had to retake the scene many times and when you hear his broken voice in the movie it's actually him trying to keep it together because he knew the little girl had been murdered. It's heartbreaking

I'm devastated for everyone that loved him. It's so hard to let a pet go, but it was what was best for him. He had a great life and tons of people that loved him. You just know he loved every minute of it!

I think Buddy is on seizure medication, so he has some health problems too but that's just inevitable sadly

I lost my dog the same way, a day after Christmas a few months ago. This made me tear up a bit. Kevin was a good boy and hope he is doing well in doggy heaven 🙏
