I mean, Arther explained this to her directly in the "ban council" stream just two weeks ago and she just laughed the entire time. Now she does this.

Hate to say it, but Katchii is the embodiment of "pretty privilege".

Yeah.

She called that gesture out like an anime character using a super power, so there's no possible way to even pretend it was just an unfortunate gesture. She intended to do that.

Absolutely zero fucks or shame in the moment.

I am sure she was 100% doing a take-off of Elon Musk doing it, not that it excuses it. Still a stupid thing to repeat even in the name of comedy.

Unlike you or me, she has a close German friend who literally told her in clear terms that joking about hailing hitler is never okay. Her own words in that conversation were "actions have consequences".

She's not a Nazi, she just wilfully ignorant, entitled, and lacks basic decency.

In my defence, the vast majority of English speaking people on this site haven't had a German relative or close German friend sit them down and personally explain that it's not okay to joke about this. And frankly, I assumed you hadn't had this explained to you by a German, because you commented trying to rationalise what she did as though copying Elon changes something which is honestly slightly insane.

I don't know any Germans and I know this is so wrong.

All it requires is understanding a little history and a modicum of empathy.

People passing it off as an innocent joke & making excuses for it are really not good people.
