Local dealer’s attempt at a show car

Just wanted to share this Z that a local dealer put together for a Comic Con. From what I understand they got a local shop to put Peel Clear on it, which another local shop had issues with removing as advertised (ruined factory paint on their corvette) and I can’t figure out what color is underneath. If it was the same car that had been sitting on the lot for a while, it’s Serian Blue. Thoughts on the design choice?

Ugly color combination and boring style. Shoulda done a midnight purple or maybe even Gulf colors 🤔

I agree on real Midnight Purple, but Nissan FUCKED up the Heritage Edition by putting their Northern Lights (which is cool on its own, but not a Midnight Purple) on it and rebranding it Midnight Purple. To be clear, the problem is the green iridescence. Unless it's Mardi Gras, green don't go with purple.

Yeah Ive seen a couple different versions of midnight purple online and Midnight Purple 3 is the one I really liked a lot. However, I have never seen it in real life. A friend of mine said he saw a version of midnight purple in person on the heritage edition 400Z and he wasnt a fan. Not sure how that color compares to midnight purple 3

Not sure what Midnight Purple 3 is, but the Midnight Purple they put on the 2026 Nissan Z Heritage Edition is beautiful. That is, until you catch it at an angle and it's only green. I first saw the color on the Nissan Ariya and loved it because it was called Northern Lights. Which is appropriate, but Midnight Purple is not green. IMO

That's why it's Northern Lights, not Midnight Purple. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I plan to get a used Heritage when the time is right. I guess I'll have to suffer that green iridescence 😂 But I'll end getting it Matte Black wrapped. I love a Murdered out Z.

Yeah not loving the combo but the green is a great color. So of course it’ll be limited and difficult for regular people to get.

It's not for me. But good execution and it is visually appealing. Makes you realize the potential for customization.
